Tournament
Tournament Rules:
1. An opposing team may not field more players than are on the
roster of the opposing team. An exception exists in the U10Girls
division where the Barracudas team may field an extra two players as
part of the team balancing.
2. In the event that players are missing from one team, the opposing
team may play no more than one player up for teams larger than 7
players.
3. Teams need to forfeit the game if they have less players show than
allowed for their division as bellow:
U8, U10B, U10G: minimum of 6 players per team
U12B, U12G, U15B and U15G: minimum of 7 players per team
4. Points are awarded for each tournament game played as follows:
Win = 6 points
Tie = 3 points
Loss = 0 points
One point for each of the first three goals scored
Shut-Out = 1 point
In the event of a forfeit, 8 points will be awarded to the winning team.
5. In the event of a tie, red (2 points) and yellow cards (1 point)
awarded against a team during the tournament will be used to decide
the outcome.
6. There will be no overtime or shoot-outs.
7. Division leaders may make division specific changes or additions
for their divisions.
The schedules will be posted to the CAA web site.
Please note that the Awards ceremony will be held Monday evening,
December 3, 6:45 pm at Valley Church in Cupertino (corner of Stelling
and Homestead Roads).
